My passion : Photography

Hey! My name Jyoti Koli. I am from India, Goa with a big smile and 3 passion: People, Travel and Photography. I decided to combine my passion and started this blog!
Photography  is the art, application and practice of creating durable image by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation either electronically by means of an image sensor or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. It is employed in many fields of science, manufacturing and business, as well as its more direct uses for art, film and video production, recreational purposes, hobby, and mass communication.

Typically, a lens is used to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during a timed exposure. With an electronic image sensor, this produces an electrical charge at each pixel, which is electronically processed and stored in a digital image file for subsequent display or processing. The result with photographic emulsion is an invisible latent image, which is later chemically "developed" into a visible image, either negative or positive depending on the purpose of the photographic material and the method of processing. A negative image on film is traditionally used to photographically create a positive image on a paper base, known as a print, either by using an enlarger or by contact printing.

Conclusion
Photography is more than a documentation process it is more, it is an art form and should be treated with the same respect as painting, sculpture, and the other well known art forms. Photographs, like paintings are artificially constructed portrayals: they have to be carefully composed, lit and produced

Waterfalls In Goa

Goa is the most beautiful state in India. Goa is a tourist spot for the tourists of all over the world. In Goa there are many beautiful places to visit. Goa has lots of waterfalls which enhances the beauty of Goa. Some of these are.

 Dudhsagar Waterfall
Dudhsagar falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park among the Western Ghats. The waterfall forms the border between Karnataka and Goa states. The area is surrounded by a deciduous forests with a rich biodiversity. The falls are not particularly spectacular during the dry season but during the monsoon season however, the falls are fed by rains and form a huge force of water.

Tamdisurla waterfall
Tambdi Surla Waterfalls is Located inside the Bhagwan Mahavir National Park, It is a 12th century Shaivaite temple of Lord Mahadev. When you see the waterfalls, you are speechless. It is so beautiful, just like the mention of stream in a poem. Water cascading from the height of 50 meters in a zigzag way looks really beautiful. There is a little pool created by the falls.
Arvalem waterfall

The Arvalem waterfall falls like the cascade from 50 meters height down on rocky sides of Western Ghat; it’s only in about 40 kilometers to the east from a beach zone of North Goa. The gracious nature of Goa surprises with the next impressive creation. The roaring foaming water flows from steep break of 7 meters width. The lake is forming below, supplementing the picturesque composition against surrounding rocks. Nearby there is a stone steps which lead to the Sri Rudreshvar temple. On the other side there is a bridge, where is the best place for observing and photography.
Among these I visited only Dudhsagar waterfall. It is huge and very beautiful the beauty of the falls attracts the eyes. The water of the falls is shivering cold. In the water there are beautiful fishes. In future vacations I will try to visit other waterfalls in Goa.
