Baga beach



Baga Beach is a popular beach and tourist destination in North Goa. Baga is located at the north end of the contiguous beach stretch that starts from Sinquerim, Candolim, leads to Calangute and then to Baga.

The beach contains rows of shacks and fishing boats, and at high tide the beach is narrow. 

The beach is named after the Baga Creek, which empties into the Arabian Sea at the north end of the beach.

Baga Beach is also famous for water sports such as parasailing and banana rides, and dolphin cruises. In Baga Beach, new parking has been constructed for around 800 cars or more, and there is baga creek bridge which connects northern part .

 The Butterfly beach is a beautiful beach situated towards the north of the Palolem beach. Here one can see a tiny stretch of perfect white sand and translucent waters. It is very suitable for those seeking peace and isolation and is one of the quietest and unexplored beaches in Goa. 

The Butterfly beach is in form of a small isolated cove and can be reached best by a boat from the Palolem beach. One can enjoy the thrilling ride by the paddle boat towards the beach and also see some dolphins on the way. 

The Butterfly beach is surrounded by a lot of rocks. It was given the name 'Butterfly beach' by the tourists as in the earlier days it is known that when the trees on the hillside near the beach bloomed, one could see a lot of butterflies here. 

During low tide, one can also reach the beach by walking which is enticing as one can enjoy the hiking trails and sunsets on the way. The Butterfly beach can also be reached by walking for a couple of hours through a forest.

                    Candolm beach



Candolim lies 15 kilometres from Panjim, the Goan capital, in northern Goa. Beginning at Fort Aguada and merging with Calangute Beach towards the end, it is one of the longest beaches in the state. The beach in itself is very calm,] at times tourists come here from Rajneesh Ashram in Pune to take a break. The main Candolim-Calangute Road is packed with shops and restaurants, but the beach front is free of any commercial activity apart from some water activities. The area around the beach can be termed as resort free as there aren't any resorts there. However, the beach has quite a number of inns.

A feature about the Candolim Beach was the ship River Princess, which had been stuck at the shores of the beach since 2000 but has since been removed.

                    Betalbatim beach 



Betalbatim beach in Goa is situated just two km north to Colva and is a beach that has stretches of golden sands where one can relax with the sound of swaying palms and the shimmering waters of the Arabian Sea. 

One can see a lot of dolphins in the area and usually there are local fishermen that take you for a dolphin trip. For accommodation one can find a number of beach resorts and guest houses in Betalbatim. There are also a number of hotels and restaurants that serve some tasty Goan dishes and drinks. 

Betalbatim is considered to be one of the finest beaches of Goa that offers serenity and seclusion to many. For all those who want a peaceful and truly relaxing place to enjoy in their Goa beach holiday, Betalbatim is the place to be.
